Giving Party

Don’t just give until it hurts…give until it feels good.

About September 25, 2007

I’m Perri Kersh–a mom, wife and professional organizer in Chapel Hill, NC. I love to come up with creative ideas to tread a bit lighter on the world and accumulate less stuff that just gets in the way of living. Last year, our family went six months without buying anything (read about it on my other blog, Enough is Enough). While watching Bill Clinton promote his new book “Giving” on Oprah, and then checking my email to find THREE invitations to “shopping parties”, I hatched the idea to throw a new kind of Sip and Shop party…a Giving Party! Read about my plans on this blog and see if I make it all happen. Thanks to several creative, energetic friends who want to help, I think it will come about this fall. Stay posted for more information!

Could you email me at nicole@myideaforchange.com?
I’m writing a book on giving and would like to talk to you about including a small section on Giving Parties.
